I've always been a big supporter of his and he is really starting to make the news...

I think Beck is a nut job. If not for his stupid visual aids he may be tolerable but they just makes him look like a dumbass to me.

I listened to him for a bit in the Tucson morning and really came to despise him. He is off the Tucson airwaves now.

Glenn Beck is great. The blackboard shtick is fantastic. Oh and I think he is working with Sarah Palin behind the scenes. If you know who Palin just endorsed in NY for congress it wasn't the republican candidate. It was also the same guy Beck was pushing on his show today.

A conversation I want to continue and I beg Rev and JFloyd to follow up on their posts...
Why do you guys feel like he's a nut?
Give me some concrete evidence that he is. while your poltical heros continue to take away your rights..
The right to bear arms is next and you idiots on the left are going to stand behind that???

Concrete evidence of my opinion? lol I already explained why I think he is a nut in my previous post. Not liking Becks visual props doesn't mean that I disagree with his views...
Who are my political heros exactly because I can't think of one politician I would consider calling a hero.

Pretty good from what I've read so far and I'll mail it to you after I'm done reading it and then you can mail it to Ed or vice verse...
I do know this much but we better stand together if government tries to take away our right to bear arms...
That would be a day when the United States of America gets nasty...

What makes you think they're going to take our guns, other than the standard Dem-in-charge/sky-is-falling rhetoric that gets thrown around at every election or when a Dem takes office? There's about as much chance of them instituting strict gun control as there is of them not f'ing up healthcare. That is to say little to none. With the exception of a few districts, it would be political suicide and they know it. That's why it's been an issue for decades (along with the other social/wedge issues that most elections revolve around), and very little has ever been done about it. They haven't even re-upped the FFAB, nor have I heard of any serious movement to do so. When everyone stops talking about gun control, that's when you start to worry.

I think we can all agree on something as we cant trust nobody in Washington...
You also brought up gun control but don't you find it funny that the sale of ammo is at an all time high? Perhaps it's just a public perception but I just find that stange...
Welcome to our board Jerbear50.. I've seen your posts on the Boxing/UFC forum but that would be Stfsergeanted's area of expertise..

Thank you, much appreciated. As far as the ammo sales, I've seen several articles that say the same thing happens whenever someone new takes office, particularly a Democrat. It's been to a greater extent this time due to fears of higher taxes being levied on ammuntions, amongst other things we won't go into.

He's a profiteer. I heard him on the radio speak about killing people and although they might deserve it for what they have done (terrorists), it is a schtick to sell books and tickets to his shows.
I never said he was a nit, I stopped liking the schtick.
The guy Beck wanted killed was Sauder (sp?) a terrorist from Saudi Arabia hiding in parts unknown at the time.
Beck is very smart and good at what he does, I just plain don't like him but if he is buying the beers...
